Caption Call Telephone
Caption Call phones work with a free captioning service to produce written captions of everything a caller says. All conversation is typed out in real time for the hearing impaired person to read. The Hearing Center provides a complimentary Cation call phone, with a qualified hearing loss. A hearing loss must be qualified with a hearing evaluation from one of our licensed hearing care providers. This captioning phone works by simply dialing the other person’s number, exactly the same way as with any other telephone. While you dial, the Caption phone automatically connects to the captioning service. When the other party answers, you hear everything they say, just like a traditional call. At the same time, the captioning service transcribes everything they say into captions, which appear on the Caption display window. You hear what you can, and read what you need to. In home installation is provided.
